About Denver Center for the Performing Arts

The DCPA Theatre Company champions the most exciting new voices in our field, while reaching to great stories of the past to illuminate the present. In crafting a season, we look for opportunities to celebrate together, as well as inflection points in the conversation about who Denver and the country are becoming.  The company produces eight to ten productions in three venues annually, as well as large-scale, immersive events off campus.  The Denver Center has a history of going big: seeking out large canvases that fully exploit the theatrical possibilities of the artform. Supported by one of the most skilled group of artisans in the country, that ambition is often delivered with superb craftsmanship. Increasingly, the work onstage represents the diversity of Denver and the Theatre Company consciously weaves conversation with the community into and around productions onstage.

Together, the DCPA Theatre Company, Broadway, Event Services, and Education & Community Engagement programs create a deep cultural impact on the region, realizing our mission to engage and inspire through the transformative power of live theatre.

In order to provide high quality, culturally competent care to our patrons, students, guests and team members, it is of highest importance that our hiring practices reflect our values by offering an environment that celebrates diversity and embraces inclusion.
